You’ve heard it before – blogs are one of the best and most cost effective ways to get visibility on the web. To lend a little credibility to our statement, we’ve started practicing what we preach. Why? Because a blog is virtually mandatory for any business fighting for search engine rankings these days. There are a lot of instances where “everyone is doing it” isn’t a sufficient reason in itself, but in the case of blogging, “everyone” is on to something.
We’ll be using this platform to share thoughts and invite comments about the current state of marketing on the web – including performance marketing, affiliate marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and other (much less technical) topics for the web business entrepreneur.
This blog is for those of you who are new to online marketing, or who are learning as you go. Most of our clients are small business owner/operators, who don’t want or need to hire a full time employee to help launch, market, or even monetize their online business, but who do need outside expertise (on a project or ongoing basis). This internet and internet marketing area is experiencing a second (quieter) boom, and there are more new-comers to the space every day. This blog is designed to be a good place for them (you) to start.
