My inaugural Affiliate Summit conference

I joined R3R not all that long ago as a junior associate, so I was excited to attend the 2008 Affiliate Summit East conference in Boston last week – and I feel like my brain is brimming with internet marketing knowledge. I was a marketing major in college and have been working in the field for some time, so I was pleasantly surprised with how much valuable information I was able to take away from this conference.

Internet marketing is constantly evolving – current technology and social trends dictate the effectiveness of a company’s marketing efforts. What worked for a company a year ago might not be the optimal solution for them today, so it was wonderful to have the opportunity to listen to seasoned marketing veterans share their experiences and the new marketing tools and strategies that are working for them.

Now that I have returned from my first Affiliate Summit and organized my thoughts a little bit, I want to share the most memorable lessons and tips I walked away with. I won’t cover every word that came out of the presenter’s mouths, but I will emphasize the important points and tools of the trade that were shared.

Stay tuned…
