href="http://r3r.com/2008/04/16/best-of-breed-solutions-for-small-businesses/">great marketing solutions for small businesses</a> &#8211; I&#8217;ve been spending some more time evaluating some of those solutions. One of the products I was looking for was a <a
title="Search Engine Marketing (SEM) / Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Marketing" href="http://r3r.com/services/search-engine-marketing/">search engine marketing</a> (SEM) tool to help manage multiple accounts across Google, Yahoo, and MSN (and others). Having a central tool to manage your pay per click (<a
title="Search Engine Marketing (SEM) / Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Marketing" href="http://r3r.com/services/search-engine-marketing/">PPC</a>) campaign is great in theory, but it&#8217;s a lofty goal to provide a useful layer on top of all those ad networks, so I&#8217;m a little skeptical of the offerings&#8230;but here&#8217;s what I&#8217;ve found so far.<span
id="more-136"></span></p><p>Among the companies getting good buzz was <a
href="http://www.marinsoftware.com/" target="_blank">Marin Software</a>. Revenews gave them a <a
href="http://www.revenews.com/heatherpaulson/affiliate-summit-2008-%E2%80%93-marin-software-%E2%80%9Cthe-find%E2%80%9D/" target="_blank">good thumbs up</a> earlier this year, too. But as you&#8217;ll read in that Revenews post, Marin is not exactly a &#8216;small business&#8217; solution &#8211; at least not yet (they require a minimum of $50k/month in ad spend). So if you&#8217;re not quite at that level yet &#8211; here are a few SEM tools that might be worth evaluating:</p><ul><li><a
href="http://www.acquisio.com" target="_blank">Acquisio</a></li><li><a
href="http://www.clickable.com" target="_blank">Clickable</a></li><li><a
href="http://www.adapt.com" target="_blank">Adapt</a></li></ul><p>Referring again to that Revenews post, you&#8217;ll see in the comments that someone also recommended these:</p><ul><li><a
href="http://atlassolutions.com/">Atlas Solutions</a></li><li><a
href="http://keywordmax.com/">KeywordMax</a></li><li><a
href="http://www.hexatrack.com/">Hexatrack</a></li><li><a
