Compete.com’s tagline is “track your rivals, then each their lunch.” 4-stars for creativity. But the service itself deserves some credit, too. It’s a great tool for gaining insight into your rivals’ websites’ traffic.
I actually ran across Compete.com for the first time at a conference in 2006 – and I held onto the $20 voucher they gave me for months before actually checking out their services. But when I finally did I was sold. I’ve been using them for years for research to support website valuations, and for insight to help grow PPC marketing campaigns, and for search engine optimization.
