Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Improve Your Findability

SEO Findability

SEO is, for many businesses, the single most effective form of online marketing. By positioning your website to be found on search engines by customers who are actively seeking your services, while they are actually searching, you can get more visitors to your website who want what you have to offer right now. Placing your brand at the top of the organic search engine results on Google, Yahoo!, Bing, and other major search engines, you make yourself visible to customers when they are most interested.

SEO is officially a buzz word in internet marketing these days. Everyone wants it, but very few people understand what it is, or how it’s done. Even so-called SEO professionals tout out-dated or ineffective tactics and frequently mislead their clients, even if unintentionally. There’s only one way to know whether a search engine optimization service provider knows their stuff – check their portfolio (we’ve summarized a couple of our own case studies below).

SEO Case Study #1:

Client was targeting high-cost, high-volume search terms across all major search engines for a nation-wide ongoing marketing campaign. The client engaged us for a heavy push of search engine optimization (SEO) efforts over a 4 month period. The campaign involved on-site search engine optimization consulting with their in-house development team, extensive off-site content marketing (article publication and press releases), and heavy link building efforts. The results were outstanding: top 10 rankings were achieved on Google for all 6 top target keywords, and rankings were improved indirectly for at least 7 other high-value keywords as well. Similar results were seen on both Yahoo! and Bing. Website traffic from organic search engine traffic increased by 30% (an increase of nearly 750 unique visits per day) compared to the beginning of the campaign.

SEO Case Study #2:

Client was targeting moderate cost, moderate volume, localized keywords for a region-specific campaign to promote a local service business. At the beginning of the campaign, website traffic and search engine rankings were very low, despite the fact that the site had been online for several years. Due to budget constraints the client engaged us for a monthly effort not to exceed $1,000 per month. Ongoing work included blog maintenance and optimization, light off-site content marketing (including press releases and article publishing), light link building work, and regular analysis and reporting. Over the course of 6 months, traffic to the website has more than quadrupled, and leads through the website increased by ten fold.
